BraNibie Expeditions was created for those who want to explore the world in an authentic, wild and responsible way. Our expeditions are more than just trips: they are immersive experiences that connect you with nature, local culture and the spirit of adventure.
Imagine crossing the world’s oldest desert, feeling the ancient winds brush your face as golden dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. Or embarking on a journey to encounter the rare desert elephants, the only ones on the planet known to survive in this inhospitable environment. Perhaps your adventure ends with your feet in the sand, a cold drink in your hand, and the sunset tinting the sky in shades of orange and violet.

History
BraNibie Expeditions was born from a constant search to create experiences that generate a positive impact, both direct and indirect, on people and the environment around us. For many years, I worked with humanitarian medical organizations, always with the goal of making a real and transformative impact, whether through direct aid or by creating solutions that improve the lives of communities.
It was this same quest for meaningful impact that led me to live in African countries, where I lived intensely and established deep connections with the local people and cultures. These experiences transformed my view of travel, inspiring me to create more authentic expeditions, where the connection with the destination, its people and the local culture was at the center of everything. And that is what I want to bring with BraNibie: connection and purpose. I want the experiences we offer to be not only lived, but felt. The idea is to create moments that leave a mark on people for the rest of their lives, with a positive and transformative impact.
As for the company name, it has a very personal story for me. Having spent several years in Namibia, where I developed a deep connection with the country and its people, the name BraNibie reflects this connection between two worlds. The union of Brazil (Bra) and Namibia (Nibie), as the locals pronounce it, is also a tribute to the indigenous people of the Kalahari Desert, one of the oldest groups in the world, who have a unique and harmonious relationship with nature.
